Welcome to version 1.7 of the Spirit of ’61 Battlelog! Over the past several months, we have focused on revising and updating our battle narratives for actions along the North Branch of the Potomac River around Romney, as well as the Skirmish at Glenville. With these updates completed, our Battlelog is now 90 pages and just shy of 49,000 words. Here is a detailed list of all changes in this version:
- An increase of 4,200 words.
- Updated Battle of Corrick’s Ford.
- Updated the title, date, and narrative of the Skirmish at Romney.
- Updated titles and narratives for the Action at Bridge No. 21, Skirmishes at New Creek and Piedmont, and Skirmishes at Dan’s Run and Kelley’s Island.
- Updated narrative for the Skirmish at Glenville.
- Updated bibliography and index.
- Fixed paragraph spacing and indentation.
