Welcome to version 1.6 of the Spirit of ’61 Battlelog! Over the past several months, we have focused on revising and updating our battle narratives for the Tygart Valley–Cheat River Campaign. With these updates completed, our Battlelog is now 88 pages and over 44,800 words. Here is a detailed list of all changes in this version:
- An increase of 12 pages and 7,800 words.
- Updated the name of Skirmish at Bowman’s Place to Action at Bowman’s Place and revised and updated the battle narrative.
- Also revised and updated the battle narratives for the actions at Fetterman, Glover’s Gap, Philippi, Righter’s House, and Buckhannon.
- Revised and updated battle narratives for the battles of Belington/Laurel Hill, Rich Mountain, and Corrick’s Ford.
- Moved the Skirmish at Glenville into Kanawha Valley subregion.
- Updated index.
